The space shuttle Endeavor is on it’s final flight. It’s presently docked with the International Space Station. Before the creation of the ISS, Endeavor was one of the shuttles that docked with the Soviet launched MIR space station. MIR set records in human habitation in space lasting 15 years and after a devastating fire that rendered one of the modules permanently disabled and the political collapse of the Soviet Union, the US stepped up its support and assistance of the final phase and eventual decommission of MIR which was allowed to burn and crash into the south Pacific in 2001. The US / Russian collaboration during the final phase of MIR provided the fundamental technology that is evident in the basic design of the ISS. Interior and exterior images of MIR and the ISS support that both are based on the same technology.
MIR 23 is a Russian language TV doc, but the pictures and video footage speak without need for interpretation for the accomplishment of human exploration. Godspeed and a safe return for Space Shuttle Endeavor!!!

Reggie Watts is opening for Conan O’Brien, and probably uses a Line6 pedal better than any guitarist. Also does some of the most surreal stand-up you’ll ever see.
